About OSRS Fishing Training
Fishing isn’t exactly the fastest 99 but it is a ability that is attainable predominantly through AFK gameplay, based on the strategy you select. In this OSRS Fisherman’s Guide we will be summing up the fastest method to fish 99 as well as slower methods for making money.

To achieve the best Rates of Exp per Hour Instead of banking or cooking the catch, just remove them from your tank as it fills. Fly fishing can achieve an average of 25k Exp per hour.
Drift Net Fishing (47 – 58*/70)
People who wish to maximize their exp and efficiency ought to consider Drift Net Fishing as a quicker alternatives for Fly Fishing and even 5-Tick Barbarian Fishing at lower levels. Although initial requirements of 44 Hunter may put players off using this method, if you’re looking to stay clear of tick manipulation and gain high rate of exp in Both Fishing or Hunter, Drift Net is the right choice. It is located in the Fossil Island’s underwater area.

Players must speak to Otto to begin Barbarian Training then search under his bed to get the rod. This method also requires having Level 15 Agility and Strength for the first time. The initial Barbarian Fishing at level 58 is not recommended unless you are using tick manipulation to accelerate the rate of catch from 5-ticks to 3-ticks. Three-tick fishing requires the use of one of a variety of items and actions to alter the normal 5 tick catch.
